a little about sunportrait:

just a space to share my favorite things! in a big asian media phase right now so that's most of what you'll seeas a ✨hag✨ by internet fandom standards, I tend to cultivate my own small, safe space and do my own thing. while this may operate like a fan account, I'm really just here to shout into the void. so fair warning that I talk about my varied interests and tend to be opinionated. can also be a retweet bot.if the rest passes your vibe check, then you are more than welcome to join me~

• Star

my film taste vacillates between pretentious cineaste and _{just here for the vibes}film canon: the 400 blows, meshes of the afternoon, raise the red lantern, batch '81, cleo from 5 to 7, this is spinal tap, paris is burning, hedwig and the angry inch, chungking express...contemporary: pan's labyrinth, russian ark, the dreamers, juno, pride and prejudice, swiss army man, moonlight, portrait of a lady on fire, perfect blue...recently loved: aswang, cleaners, adolescents, the recorder exam, drive my car, spencer

• Play

staple show genres + some of my absolute favoritesslice of life dramas: age of youth, be melodramatic, dear my friends, hot stove league, nothing but thirty...variety and reality shows: going seventeen, new journey to the west, workman, terrace house...dramedies and sitcoms: new girl, bojack horseman, sex education, dear white people, veronica mars, community...high concept/scifi: sense8, circle, watchmen...transmedia storytelling:
skam, the lizzie bennet diaries

• Music

though music is probably my most diverse media, I usually gravitate towards pop, new wave, rock, and r&b. listing my favorite artists will take forever so just, idk, trust me (?)kpop (with a dash of k-indie) is my most recent and maybe longest focused music interest so far!but opm will weave into this space from time to time as well

• Key

as I will likely talk about kpop a lot, here's a non-comprehensive stan list◇ f(x), winner, shinee, seventeen, exo, red velvet, sistar, BoA, wonder girls ◇◇ ioi + post-ioi groups and solos, got7, blackpink, ikon + hanbin, akmu, cix, lee hi, exid, 2pm, heize, baek yerin + the volunteers, se so neon, hyukoh, epik high, colde ◇◇ nct, twice, 2nd gen girls (apink, 2ne1, after school, kara, snsd, 4minute, missA fei + jia), oh my girl, nu'est, dean, dpr, bibi, yukika, sf9, onf, fromis_9, cherry bullet, treasure ◇

feel free to interact if you're comfortable with all the stuff you've seen so far~dissent/discourse about media are welcome ofc but there are things that are not up for debate. racism, homophobia, and general disregard for human rights do not have a place here.
